He heads West Avocats, a law firm with offices in Paris and Normandy, where he specialises in business law, employment law and private international law.
For some thirty years, Thierry Ygouf has represented and advised midsized Companies (mainly SMEs, ETIs and departments of major groups, such as Saint Gobain for its Materials Distribution branch) located across France, Europe and the USA, and advising their managers.
Thierry Ygouf is appointed to institute legal proceeding before any Court in France, and the International Arbitration Chamber in Paris.
He is renowned for his expertise in risk prevention and crisis management and communication, and provides training in these areas to companies, employers' organisations and business schools.
He has developed expertise in the negotiation and amicable settlement of disputes (between partners/shareholders or between companies).

Thierry Ygouf is registered in the Canton of Vaud as a lawyer in the European Union.
With his firm West Avocat, he is the French law correspondent of Wilhelm Avocats SA.
